Silvertone 1484

Hi, does anyone have any ideas about good replacement speakers for the 2x12 1484? Also, I'm looking for any replacement footswitches (aftermarket/modern) that would work well with the 1484.

The Jensen C-12's that were stock in those sound pretty good. The RI Jensen C-12R's or the Mod 12-35's would sound fine. Eminence, too. Don't put any heavy speakers in, they'll tear right out of the baffle(which is two pieces of Masonite).

Any old style two-button footswitch with a stereo plug will work

I would try to use older speakers I bought two old Jensen C-12R for $85.Also use only NOS RCA tubes in the power out,If you have the old RCA Silvertones even better,Best Blues rock amp

In case you don't know, that amp wants to see a 4 ohm load, so two 8 ohm speakers in parallel will be fine.
