Pre-CBS, 1969 year of manufacture. ( ) I've owned it since 1973, and it has lots of miles on it, but still sounds sweet. You know the sound. Make me a serious offer for this fine amplifier.

this is in or around AURORA

I love it,

Brad1

There's some guy on CL Chicago hawking a 69 Bandmaster (IIRC) with some chrome tread-plate screwed on the front of it saying it's 'modded just like a Mesa Boogie with the pre-CBS circuit' or some such nonsense. It's cobbled together from parts over about a 5 year span, none of which is anything before 1966 and he still touts the whole "pre-CBS circuit". He was saying it was a pre-CBS amp until a lot of people replied on CL about how he was a fraud. Now he's saying it's a pre-CBS circuit in a vintage amp (with treadplate, some questionable Mesa mod and other messy things done). Yeah right. Ted Weber sells amp kits with a Pre-CBS circuit too. Does that make Weber kits a pre-CBS amp? Yuh-huh. Yuerp. Doh-dee-doh. LOL

Maybe I should advertise my 78 SF Twin as pre-CBS because it has push-on knobs instead of knobs with set screws.
