Whats the story on the new crate 5112, all tube el34's? I think is what I read about it. Anyway, I bought it yesterday and so far it is really nice. The clean is great, the effects are ok but rarely will use them, the drive channel is fairly nice but a pedal sounds better, pushed it sounds pretty killer.

Any probs that anyone knows of or anything I need to fix or change right off the bat. Any tweaks or mods would be nice to hear about as well. Thanks. :)

How bout a speaker change, any recommendations? The one in there sounds ok but a little mushy on the drive side and the clean could use a bit more sparkle.

Hey Madialex,

Does it still have the thin-as-paper circuit board that creates all kinds of problems with the first tube change?
