Hey guys,
Building a slide guitar. Used an old Kay lap slide for basic measurements, but I'm making some changes to the layout.
I've order the hardware I need from stew-mac, but the last - and most expensive part - is the pickup.
I'm a single coil kinda guy, but I don't want that sound for this guitar. I'm thinking Pearly Gates (not going for the country slide sound). I'm looking to save some cash where I can and wondering if you guys know of a economical version of the Pearly Gates.
Any idea's would be greatly appreciated.
