My son found an Epiphone Valve Jr. combo in the garbage yesterday. Somebody was trying to mod it, and by the looks of the flash burn on the PCB and chassis, didn't know what they were doing! For some reason or other they clipped the wires from the OT and PT inside the chassis and pulled all of the spade connectors out from the PCB and switches.. There is plenty of room to extend the wires but I can't find any pictures or wiring diagrams that show what wire colors go where. I figured out the OT but the PT has a lot of leads and it looks like many are unused in the circuit. The OT and PT do not appear to be shorted, I did a quick resistance check.
I would like to power this thing up to see if it is worth fixing and found a lot of info with circuit diagrams and mods on these amps but nothing with color coding or complete enough pictures. Can anyone tell me what color wires from the PT are used and where they go?
