hello, I'm Saverio and i write from italy.... excuse my poor english and please in future say me when when it isn't understandable :D
I would learn to make pickup but before to try to build first prototipe i would learn primary notions about functioning and building.... then, where i can find a collection of primary notions about wire, magnets, dimensions, inductance, peak resonant, dc resistant ecc??...

@ Ken: i saw your thread about traverse..... i built a cnc milling machine and perhaps if you illustrate me what are the pattern most used i can help you... usually in the old printer you can find all that you need (l297/l298 control ic too)

can anyone post a picture of tensioner?
