In the right forum this time:

I realise this is not a schematic exchange, but if anyone has circuit info on the 1970s Fisher X-100 tube hi-fi amp, or anything else of interest to say, I would be most grateful, not to say reciprocal. Specially the power supply - this one has been converted to SS diodes with a big resistor across them to cut voltage (presumably) - not surprisingly perhaps, given the resistor, the power txr is shorted, and I will be converting it back to a GZ34 when I fit the new txr. I can work out some good values etc but it would be nice to have total 'originality'.

4 x EL84, 6 x preamp valves, ECC83 and ECC832. 275-0-275 into the GZ34 for 350ish volts B+, I'm assuming...

Did you google "Fisher X-100 schematic"?

Well I thought I did but something in your tone makes me want to go and do it again...

Mm... didn't look quite hard enough did I?

Actually it was just a suggestion, I had not done so myself.

- good suggestion because I found a source. Thanks.
