Potting Question

How do you guys keep the edges of the cloth humbucker tape from unraveling while potting??? I seem to always have little threads hanging everywhere! :eek:

Um, you put the tape on AFTER the potting, I think.

Generally I don't have this problem but it's not unknown. You can do what Fralin does. he wraps an elastic band around the ribbon to keep it in place.

I don't use hot wax, I use pollyurathane as I wind.

Pot first, wrap with tape, then dunk again just long enough to cover the tape.
A couple of seconds will do nicely if the pup is still warm.
