Does the buzzing stop when you unplug the cable from the guitar or when you unplug the cable from the amp? Do you get that buzzing when you plug that guitar into other amps, or when you plug other guitars into that amp?

Well either way if i unplug the guitar from the amp or the amp from the guitar the buzzing stops, and i have never tried any other guitar on my amp or my guitar on any other amp.

And now for the next barrage of questions: if you leave the cable plugged into the amp with no guitar plugged into the other end of the cable, does the buzzing stop?
When the amp is buzzing, does the buzzing go away when you turn down the amp's volume?
When the guitar's plugged in, does the amp buzz if the guitar is turned all the way down? What kind of guitar is it--does it have single coil pickups or humbuckers?

Best thing is to try another lead, then another guitar in there. If you don't have one take it to a shop, they probably won't mind.
