Tube Screamer Clone

Anyone have any experience with the ITS8 TS clone from General Guitar Gadgets (http://www.generalguitargadgets.com/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=shop.flypage&product_id=22&category_id=7&manufacturer_id=0&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=45&vmcchk=1&Itemid=45)? I was thinking of building one. It's supposed to be a TS808 clone.

And that is exactly what it is, minus the electronic switching. There is a layout at www.tonepad.com as well. Neither is "better" than the other. One may work a little better for you than the other depending on the chassis you wish to use or the physical size of the caps you have.

The Tonepad layout includes a few extra pads for adapting the same physical layout to make either a Boss SD-1 clone or a TS-808 clone. There is no real magic to either. Either the build works for you...or it doesn't.

I'm about to build a Screamer from Build Your Own Clone (http://buildyourownclone.com/screamer.html). The reason I chose theirs is because it includes instructions on modding it with some of the popular mods that people like to do to this box and the parts are included in the kit.
