Standby for Valve Jr. ?

I put in an AC switch just because I wanted one and see that on the front of the amp in pictures...
But...if I were to reduce volume to 0 while amp is warming up every time, is there any advantage to having a bypass switch?

For a tiny amp like that I can't see any reason to bother with a standby switch. For that matter, I probably wouldn't bother turning the knobs down either.

I put on in on mine. I haven't had it long enough, or use it enough to notice the difference, bt I still like having it.
