5E3 Scratch Build.

Hey Guys,

I'm back from Italy, and ready to start this new project. The cabinet arrived while away, and it looks great!

Now, some questions:

I need a chassis: I would prefer to buy a stock chassis from hammond or some other mftgr, does anyone know the measurements of the 5E3 chassis?

Transformers: What are the general thoughts about PT and OT? There are several mfgr's, what are the best quality, and which offer the best "bang for the buck?"

Speaker: No clue here. Thoughts?

Other than that, I'll scrounge up the passives, some G10 board, switches/knobs etc. Looking forward to slapping this beast together!

for european folks, hammonds are a good bang for the buck I would say... if you're from the ua, you might want to give bruce collins from mission amps a call...
