WTB: Ampeg SVT rear data plate

not sure exactly what it's called but the rear plate on my 70s SVT is missing. example in the pix below. any help locating a replacement greatly appreciated.

I don't have either one, but are you looking for the rear grille, the upper silver area with the fan? Or do you want the rear panel, the black strip at the bottom where the jacks are?

just the lower metal plate is what i'm searching for. a repro would be acceptable, but i have yet to locate a source. Fliptops doesn't have them.

Jerry - did you have any luck with your search? I'm looking for one for an original SVT head I recently picked up. I will prpbably try SLM and see if they have anything that will work. I'm not sure if the newer SVT RI has the same rear panel jack layout.

...but seriously...
still no luck on my end. SLM may be worth a shot. i also tried a couple of places that specialize in Ampeg repair & restoration (in addition to Flip Tops) but struck out there as well. i'm considering borrowing one & making a Xerox copy, cutting the metal panel from sheet stock, gluing the copy to the metal & covering it with a clear aerosol. if i knew how to silk screen i'd be dangerous :eek:
