I am planning on purchasing a replacement cabinet for a Twin Reverb amp. The cabinet it came with is a 68-69, but the amp itself is a 77. The grill cloth for the 68-69 has very prominent, non-sparkly turquoise lines. My friend's 1974 Quad Reverb has much more subtle, non-sparkly light blue lines, and a Bassman cabinet I have from 76 has sparkly turquoise lines! Here are some photos. My question is, which of two repros will most accurately copy a 1977? Are there any more different repro styles of silver face grill cloth?
