For sale is a single ended amp project a built about a year ago. It was intended to be a high powered champ type amp with a 6L6 or EL34 output. The amp works, but I think I is underpowered. It is hard to get a clean sound out of it. The OP transformer is a Hammond 125ESE and the PT is a Hammond 261G6. Chassis is a Hammond 13.5 x 5 x 2. It also has an annoying hum. I suspect both issues are due to inadequate plate voltage. I used the white, black and yellow OPT transformer leads and clipped the orange and green leads to 3/8" and put heat shrink on them. They could be used for a different configuration.

The two sockets are American made NOS ceramics, as well as a Drake NOS pilot light socket and nickle green faceted pilot jewel. Tubes are a Sovtek 5881/6L6WGC and a NOS GE 6SL7 which I'll include. Input and output jacks are Cliff. Filter caps are new JJ and Sprague. All these parts were purchase new in October 2006.

This amp will need some work to get it working correctly. Possibly a more powerful power tranny or voltage doubler? I'm not sure. But it's a great platform for a simple amp project. I'll include new grey power cord. I've attached photos of this amp.

The chassis and transformers alone cost over $90. I want $70 plus actual shipping costs via FedEx Ground to your location. I'll accept PayPal or money order only. If interested, please contact me at:
