Cleanup 5e3

Anybody have experience with cleaning up a 5e3 deluxe maybe change the dropping resistor to the preamp and raise the voltage. the resistor is original 22k Any tried any other values.

I did the cap changes to the preamp, the Paul C mod, and the super OT mod for 6L6 tubes, and the amp cleaned up quite a bit. It's nice clean, but you lose a bit of the 6V6 / Deluxe character that way. I'd like to build another that's just stock, with no mods, to compare.
