XLR to 1/4" for old vox head question

I'm needing a speaker cable for testing a Vox V1143 transistor Vox head. I can't find my test cables in my moving boxes. I'm trying to remember the wiring for xlr to 1/4" for this application. Do I connect pin 1 and 2 to sleeve and pin 3 to the tip?
