Marshall Valvestate 8008 pots, log or lin?

Hi everybody,

I need to change the gain pots in this amp. Schematic tells me value of 10k, but say nothing about log or lin. Does not say on the pots either. Anybody who knows?

Do the pots say "10kA" or "10kB" on them? A = Audio taper, B=Linear Taper.

Just checked the schematic. It says B10K. They are linear taper.

Thanks for helping! My "normal" work is computer electronics so I'm not familiar with all the codes in the audio world, but I'm learning:)
