mac1amps

I recently received an old Matamp (Orange) in my [Chicago] shop, which had been badley blown-up, and then poorely serviced by some hack, before selling it to it's current owner (via e-bay, of course). I don't know for sure if this is a legitimate Matamp (I've only seen a couple during my 33-years of pro-amp servicing), or an Orange that someone has tried to "pawn-off" as a Matamp (I used to do warranty servicing on Oranges in the 70's, so I've seen plenty of those). After spending many hours cleaning it up, re-installing the [Partidge] transformers, replacing various components, repairing damaged P.C. traces, etc. it still has some strange quirks. I've had to resort to a 70's Orange schematic for MOST of the work, but there are a couple of [un-traditional] controls, not found on Oranges, that aren't working the way [I'm guessing] they should. I imagine it's pretty futile to try to find a Matamp schematic. I am also not certain as to the color code of the output transformer secondaries on this model Partridge, which MAY be damaged (yes, I know I can make D.C. resistance checks to determine the windings, but I don't know for sure whether or not the windings were damaged). I'd sure like to be able to restore this amp as accurately as possible (assuming it is a legitimate Matamp). Anyone possibly know of a source for ANY [technical] info on these??
