need to replace sliders for Acoustic 370 head

I've owned an Acoustic 370 since 1975. I took the head in to a repair guy to have it brought back up to spec. I was told that I need to replace the EQ sliders. He seemed to think that they would be hard to find. I hope he's not correct. Any help to where I can buy the replacement sliders would be appreciated.

Those are hard to find.

The sliders themselves are common 60mm travel sliders. Problem is the slider handle sticks up 30mm from the top surface of the part. You won't find that in most catalogs. The sliders are set back from the panel then fit through slots and stick out far enough for the knobs. What I did was get some plain old 60mm sliders from Mouser and mounted them on the frame, but their shafts are only 20mm tall, so they don't come through the panel. I changed the knobs to ones with shafts that set through the panel. it isn;t stock, but it works well.

They have a selection of values, I forget which it is, look on the schematics or the old parts. 50k I think.

Then the knobs I used are: 450-3051 or 450-3052, black or gray

These didn't match the slider pc board pattern, so I mounted them on the metal frame without the board and wired them up direct. There are a few resistors too, so I wired them right on the sliders. Since I was rewiring, I added a Molex connector so i could detach it.

Originally there was a rubber sheet to seal the gap around the slider handles. This wouldn't allow the knob shaft to fit down the hole, so I removed it. I think the result looked good, though not stock. No change was made to the front panel, only to the subassembly mounted behind it.

This would be without a doubt the most requested acoustic part allong with the white buttons. I wish I could help. I need to buy 1000 pcs. to get them retooled.
