  • I feel gipped

I recently lost my Stew Mac polarity tester (I think I unknowingly dropped it in a customer's box while completing an order and sent it along with his order), and I had to buy another.

In the grand scheme of things (with the economy in a funk and all) this is really nothing...however, I did notice that the new Stew Mac Polarity Tester doesn't come with a pocket clip like the older ones used to have....what is the world coming to?

    but... but...

I've recently bought one too, and it came WITH the pocket clip.

I guess you've been a little bit unlucky?

    Ask for a new one?

Ask for a refund? $ 8,95 is a lot of cash nowadays.

    Yeah, life sucks...

Hmmm....... I bought mine about 5 yrs. ago, and it didn't have a clip. I guess just keeping it in a steel drawered desk is enough to know where it is.

        Well...

When I bought one yrs back, I had to remove the Schattlin Design paper inside and put my own twisted humor in there- I even sealed it back up with clear silicone to find the magnet had just disappeared??

I got mine about three years ago and it had the pocket clip, which I have never used.

It stays in my plastic storage bin with the rest of my electronic tools.

You could probably get a clip off a pen.

Hey Wade, where have you been? I emailed you a while back and never heard from you.
It would be possible to describe everything scientifically, but it would make no sense; it would be without meaning, as if you described a Beethoven symphony as a variation of wave pressure. — Albert Einstein

I just dug an old compass out of my no longer used backpacking gear to determine N-S orientation. Does my tone suffer from backwoods sweat soaked polarity indicator device syndrome?
