  • Fender SK 100B pre amp section out

I have a Fender SK 100B that has no output from the pre amp section. I can plug into the power amp input and get sound out. Does anyone have a Schematic for this?

        fender schematic

Sure. I've attached the schematic. I'm getting audio out now. I found a ceramic disc cap with long legs that was bent over and shorting to a resistor. Someone must have been in this amp before I got it. Now I need to test all of the front panel controls to see if everything is good. What's a good source to plug into the input to check the tone, gain, volume ect. ? I've been using an MP3 player.

          Best?
I use a frequency generator with an adjustable amplitude.

I'm going to try a PC signal generator program I found.

              PC signal generator

              That will work.
Watch the amplitude Remember, a guitar puts out anywhere from (avg) 80 to 120 mvs.
