    Anyone play one of these?
Does the tremolo actually work or sound good?
This thing is thumping, almost like motorboating, the speed and depth can be varied with the trem pots, but it has no real tremolo to the sound.
It looks like it's supposed to modulate the cathode voltage of the 6V6 as the trem tube pin 8 is connected between the big 270ohm cathode resistor of the 6V6 and a 1/2 watt 33ohm resistor.
Aside from that, it's a great sounding little amp.

Well it seems that since the trem footswitch was missing, somebody messed up the wiring when they were in here, put it back to stock and it works and sounds great.
Oh, and if anyone is looking for a schem for this....let's just say it's very similiar to the Silvertone 1449.....reeeaaaalllyyyy similiar...nudge nudge wink, wink
