  • Please help with my Peavey Classic 50!

My amp had been working fine for the past month since I bought it, but today all sound just died. I have a model from 1993 with no effects loop. I was just starting up a jam session, I took it off standby, and I was fiddling around with some pedals that were plugged into the clean channel - I started playing and there was like a fuzzy/muddy sound over the guitar, and then all sound just stopped. I tried plugging straight into the amp with different cords and different guitars. There was no burning smell or anything. I tried plugging the guitar in both inputs and on both channels, and nothing. The amp power still lights up fine, the power amp tubes look to be glowing normally. The preamp tubes barely glow at all, and haven't since I installed them 3 weeks ago (but they've been working fine). I tried shutting it off and then turning it back on and at first for a few seconds I could hear a very faint sound when playing the guitar with the amp volumes all the way up, but then it just goes away and no sound comes out at all on either channel. Thanks for your help.
