Vox VT50 volume dependent hum?

Hi, Although I havent seen it in person as yet, I will shortly have for repair a Vox VT50 which apparently has a hum on the output which is volume control dependent.
Im guessing its going to be a cap somewhere in th epramp but just wondered if it was a stock fault with these or anyone had same problem?
