  • MosFet Identity Help

Number is MTP5 0N05E W M 342 I included pic and PDF of possible replacement. Just need to verify. Seems Motorola sold out to ON Semiconductor. I am going to replace all six since outer legs test 4-49 ohms and not in Mega ohms. Thanks

I am also changing out the obsolete CA3424E 16 Pin IC for the LM3524E improved version PWM.

MOSFET part numbers are mostly in a generic format. 50N05 = 50 amp, N channel, 50 volt.

Your "replacement" is a 50P03: 50 amp, P channel, 30 volt. So it won't work. Look for something with 50N05 in the part number.

I'm guessing this is a car amp.
"Enzo, I see that you replied parasitic oscillations. Is that a hypothesis? Or is that your amazing metal band I should check out?"

How about one of these below from Digikey? Just want to get the same or better Mosfet for this Clarion A2000 car amp. Want to get opinions from experts on these before ordering them. Thanks

Yeah... those would probably be fine.
