peavey studiopro 112 transtube series

i have a peavey studiopro 112 transtube series and someone gave this amp to me and said they didnt knowwhat was wrong with it and i turn it on and it does nothing so i thought the speaker was blown and so i hooked another speaker up to it and it hums but does not play att all it just hums plz help me

might be shorted output transistors
bad zener diodes or regulators.

Look at the speaker, when you turn it on, does the cone move one direction and stay there? If so, turn it off right away, the output stage is blown, and it will kill another speaker.
