  • bridge rectifier for dc filaments supply

I'm repairing a Marshall JCM2000 that has a problem with the dc filaments supply for the first two 12AX7 tubes. I'm replacing the bridge and all the el. capacitors. It has one bridge SB603 and four parallel 3300uF electrolytics.

I assume that the bridge is 6A at 300V, right? Do I have to replace with the same bridge? 6A are too much for .6A that is needed for the tubes. I have a 1.5A bridge and 2A bridge. Can I use one of these? Or I'll have to find a 6A?

Are you sure that circuit doesn't also power the heaters for the other tubes in the amp? Aren't there some el34s and such in there?

Yeah I'm totally sure! It powers only the first two 12AX7s.

      Here's a link for the schem... JCM2000
