JC-120 + External Speaker Output
Hi, can anyone tell me whether it is possible to mod a JC120 and send channel 1 to power an external 2 x 12 cabinet, while channel 2 powers the inbuilt 2 x 12 speakers?
I dont know whether the architecture of the amp lends itself to such a mod.
In essence, a bass player or keyboard player could play through channel 1 and the external cab, while my guitar plays through channel 2 and the internal speakers.
I am about to layout some money on a 2 x 12 mesa boogie cabinet, and would love to be able to use channel 1 of the JC 120 to power it.
Would love to gather some technical information on the mod, if it is possible.
