  • Ibanez DM-1000 modem sounds on delays

I have an Ibanez DM-1000 digital rack delay that has intermittent modem-like sounds on the delays. The problem seems worse when hotter signals are run through the delay.

I am not terribly familiar with the digital realm so I'm not quite sure where to start, but assume this problem has something to do with a/d or d/a conversion.

I have attached schematics, if anyone can point me in the right direction.

    Thanks.

Have you eliminated the possibility of RF interference? Cell phone noise (modem-like, as you describe) is picked up by my wireless belt pack transmitter, but also by my computer speakers - possibly the PC's D/A card? - when the phone is close to the devices in question.
