  • seymour duncan humbuckers clockwise or anticlockwise winding?

    Hi All

    Does anyone know which direction seymour winds his duncan distortion pups and which gauge wire, it looks like 44awg TIA

    I have a recent Duncan SH14 apart and it is wound counterclockwise.

      Thanks for the note. I took a chance before I read your post and wound it counterclockwise using 0.050 mm wire 44awg I think about 6.2kt.

        Also when SD use 0.050 mm wire in humbuckers - layout step in 1 layer. = 0.075 - 0.080 mm . Hope it will be helpful.

          Hi Mr Candy

          Thhanks for the note, I wound the coil by hand and it sounded fine. The info will come in usefull when I finally get Elepros cnc winder finished.

            Hand winding for beginners, video manual with some tips included.

            You can control wire layout very easy when you HW too like CNCMAN(check link and watch video we think it will be useful)
