Microphonic Guild Humbucker from a 1977 S-100 (SG)

Anyone have any recommendations on how to tame this screaming microphonic Guild Humbucker? Is wax potting still done? Anyone in Salt Lake City doing pickup repairs?

Yep, these days with all the stupidly high gain amps, wax potting is de rigueur.
