  • Egnater Rebel-30

    Hi again!

I am in the repair process of the one EGNATER REBELD-30 Guitar amp. This amp have one output transformer combining the EL84 pair (this pair of tubes have its own bias adjustment pot) and the 6v6 Pair (this pair of tubes have its apropiated own bias adjustmen pot too!).....I would like to know if the Bias in each pair need to be same current??...It is necesary that for adecute sound balance and noise canceling...etc??....Can the bias for the EL84 and the bias of 6v6 be different but balanced in each pair??.....

Please let me to know your comments.
    Thanks again in advance!

Very much doubt bias settings for very different tubes are the same.
To each its own and donīt forget to consider plate dissipation in each tube type, which is different.

Personally consider the Simulclass myth a myth.

Let's start off on the right page here first. The Egnater Rebel has 6V6's and EL84's correct? NOT EL34's?

That said, to my recollection, the bias settings and test points are marked/printed on the PC board, though I could be wrong.
