If you just need a cover I'd say silver solder or spot-weld the bracket/s on yourself.
You could try ordering just a cover from Seymour Duncan.

is there another source for the steel plates? At 8 bucks a pop I would think there might be an alternative.

I'm seeing the price as $4.25, does that sound better?

Would you mind elaborating; even a PM would be great. I have a dealer account with Mojo and a website, but haven't used AllParts much, at least not yet.

It wasn't that easy when I tried.
I would like to hear it also.
It is however easy at WD music, if you have a website.

They are mostly interested in your state resale or sales tax ID#. They will also want 3 commercial credit references and your bank info if they plan to offer you 30 day net financing which used to be the norm. Sometimes you can ask for a cash only or COD account. Allparts keeps your Credit card info on file. When you log into the website it then shows you wholesale pricing. They are very nice folks, just call them and ask them how to set up a wholesale account. They have no minimum initial order the way some places do.
