  • Annoying thread order display, Is it just me?

I cant seem to easily get to the latest post. I've tried the 3 display options - hybrid , linear etc and it does not solve the problem. When i click on the "next page" or page number it keeps going to page one. Is this a conspiracy? If so I want you to know I have put another layer of tin foil on my hat. If not does anyone know how I might resolve this?

    Thanks

    Linear mode is just that.
    Posts are sorted by date.
    I use Linear.
I don't know what you are saying about the page thingy.

    Hybrid is an odd duck.
    It posts by posts.
But if someone answers to a post , say 11 posts back, it inserts that 11 posts back.
    I don't care for Hybrid.

FWIW, I usually go straight to 'Activity Stream'.
That is where the latest posts are.

      Hey thanks for your reply!

Yeah I use linear too but I guess the real annoying thing is the page thingy. I've never seen that happen before. Its the only way it functions for me here? weird....

        I use linear mode too.
I haven't seen the behavior that you described.
If you are signed in, a thread has to get pretty long before a 2nd page is created. Note that a forum thread "page" is not the same thing as a display page on your computer monitor. Maybe that's what's behind your issue.

Keep set to "linear". Log out. Clear your MEF cookie, reboot.
          Any help?
