Never Mind, link to ad was removed, this post is no longer relevant!

So if you want to know if they are worth anything?
Wouldn't you want to find that out before you list on ebay?
Or was this thread just to advertise your ebay listing?
Looks like an ad to me!

                    It's an ad to me.
Especially since you already have it listed.
Listing and asking seems like the cart and horse were backwards.

According to Bill Lawrence's site the 510l was developed in 1981 and dropped before 1982. Making it odd that one would be in a guitar made in 1983 I think.?. Still possible though. I haven't seen pics yet but mr fab in post 5 mentiones that they look like normal l500's. The actual 510l had a chrome cover so they should be easy to distinguish. Also according to BL's site, the l500 and 510l models were merged after the 510l was discontinued and that pickup took the designation l500. The original l500 got a new name (500xl I think). In this light I think if the pickup LOOKS like a l500 it's probably a l500 made with parts left over from discontinued 510l production and would, according to the site, be some sort of conglomeration of the two designs OR the actual design is the 510l with it's new name of l500 even though it has a baseplate marked 510l (anyone confused yet !). Anyway...

Value? I can't imagine it's a real collectible. It was a custom request by Ronnie many years after his heyday. "Montrose" (the album) was released something like eight years earlier so it wasn't the "rock candy" pickup or anything. It wasn't very popular when offered originally which is why the "Montrose 510l" moniker was dropped in favor of giving it a standard model designation. I don't know how it goes in the darkest corners of gear shows or fandom sites but I'm going to guess that no one is beating down doors to find originals. And that's assuming you can provide better providence for the ones you have since they seem to be leftover parts hybrids.

Not to worry, nobody's going to bop you over the head. And the MEF flea market's free, can't beat the price. I think it's fair to ask about what you're selling, then we all can benefit from knowing more about it. BTW I'm a fan of Lawrence blade pickups - I even used a set in a bass and they sounded terrific.
This isn't the future I signed up for.

this Clist ad has same couch in picture:
                            AUJAN custom handmade electric guitar
and says its got "NASHVILLES BILL LAWRENCE pickups" ??

its pretty but not $1k pretty IMHO.

Its not like any of Ronnie's guitars that I have ever seen, so that's a red herring..

                              Sure they are worth something.

Don't much get the "real deal" bit, do you mean they are so much sought after that fakes or clones are running around?

Are there Korean or Chinese copies being offered on the market?

EDIT: this very similar looking guitar is being offered for $300:
