  • QSC CX204V Thermistor

Hi I was wondering if anyone could help in identifying a part. I'm repairing a QSC power amp & I need help identifying R324.
I know it's a thermistor. It was pretty well blown up. The only numbers I could make out on what was left of the part were, 1001, and 1213 underneath it.
Is the "10" the resistance of the thermistor?. It's in series with the 120V AC which is fused at 25 amps.
I'm not up on figuring what type of thermistor to use.
    Any help would be appeciated!
    Thanks!

10 ohms cold, reducing to a low value when warm.

You might call QSC and ask what the component is.

Often the diameter of the thing is a clue as well. You need one that will handle the current the amp draws.
Education is what you're left with after you have forgotten what you have learned.

Should be this one. You don't have to buy it from them, but here are the specs.
