Lexicon Effects Fault on Soundcraft EFX8 Mixer

Hi folks

I have an intermittent fault on my Soundcraft EFX8 Mixer where the Lexicon Effects stops working.

So far it looks like the fault is only on Bank "A" setting 16 (karaoke setting) but I have not spent a great deal of time going through all the other 31 settings to check.

The fault is not there all the time & looks like it only comes up after the mixer has been on for 10 mins or so.

There is no pattern & the fault just comes & goes no matter what I set the fader at.

I have pulled out the fader & listened through earphones & the fault is still there so I don't think the fader is at fault in any way.

Any ideas or tips?

When it goes away, give the area of the FX board a sharp rap with your knuckle or the handle of a screwdriver. Does that mechanical shock affect the symptom at all?
