Transistor Substitutes

I was looking for substitutes for the following transistors: 2N4250 and 2N4888

I was thinking:

2N4250 -> 2n5087
2N4888 -> 2N5401

Any suggestions? Will these work?

I think those will be OK.

WARNING! Musical Instrument amplifiers contain lethal voltages and can retain them even when unplugged. Refer service to qualified personnel.
