  • Source for Marshall tube amp layout docs

    Hi All,
The .net is loaded with all of the popular Fender schematics and layouts too, and also lots of chassis photos. My next amp build will be a marshall JTM45 clone. I only found a few very sketchy almost impossible to read Marshall JTM45 schematics on line, and not one layout diagram. Anyone know of a good source for good readable Marshall schematics and maybe a layout as well?
    Thanks
    MP
The only good solid state amp is a dead solid state amp. Unless it sounds really good, then its OK.

I don't recall MArshall issuing layouts. You want to clone one? Go look at the places that sell clone kits, see if any of them include a layout for their clone.
Education is what you're left with after you have forgotten what you have learned.

Also, the re-issue schematics will be higher quality than the originals.

Check Ceriatone I'm sure you can find one there. But even better would be to build a fender champ straight from the schematic. It will certainly help in you in future builds to not have to rely on a layout.

Triode Electronics has a kit with a layout diagram.

Both Triode and Cereatone layouts are awesome. The Triode layouts are nice for me since they have the actual resistance values as opposed to the color bands on resistors. Anyone know what software they used, or you can use to make the really nice looking layout images?
