  • Behringer pmp5000 complete power loss

I lost power during a sound check. Outdoor gig, lots of extension cords. Not fuse, I've opened it up and checked them all. What next?

SO start with the power supply. SPS1000, right?

I bet the main filter caps are not charging. And my first suspects are the soft start resistors. Those are the two 22 ohm power resistors, R11,12. Either one open?

Of course could be many things. Is it just dead, or is there a brief flicker when first turned on?

You can disconnect the power amps to see if they are the cause, however you need to not only pull the heavy wire main power connectors, but also the small 6-pin connector from the power amps.
