If you don't already know, to gain access to the buried power and Standby switches on these difficult amps, there is an access door on the back side of the chassis that allows you to disconnect and remove the switches. You must first pull the tube cage, and then you can remove a long narrow panel to get to the switches. You do not have to pull the AC supply board to do this. Don't ask me how I know.
