heck, forgot to say hi to everyone. I am a solo entertainer using midi backing tracks and playing guitar and singing to them. I use a laptop, and have a ton of fun playing and making music and money. I make much more money than I ever did in bands. I miss good things about playing in bands, but am also glad to get away from the bad things, (people not showing up, ego plays, splitting the money, deciding when and what to play....). I have been doing this for over three years now, and have a good list of customers. I played two nights last weekend for Christmas parties, and made myself $500 bucks for two gigs, and it really helped for Christmas.
Anyway, here are a couple links to youtube vids of me playing after a show one night. My family showed up late and the club let me play for a while after they closed. For the gig, the room was packed and I made $150 dollars and 75 bucks in tips. I was just jamming for my brother who was filming these few songs
