    It's a cello banjo I suppose.

There are two cello strings with a fretless neck of some hardwood on a "body" of cherry. The sounder is a tamborine type shell except it came without the cymbally things so maybe it's not a tamborine. The silver thing is the top off a milkshake "shaker" and the bridge is an ebony piano key with an arm and a curve on the bottom so it can be trembled.

Thers a piezo going into a high impedance with a j-fet and an electret into a bjt which are summed and sent into another bjt... or are they ujt's. They're plain ol' BBC 547's anyways. It's a sweet sounding thing with those cello strings and I can't wait to get some rosin to sort out the bass bow I got. Oh and it feedbacks well easy with the volume up and is very easy to change by moving it about and tweaking the tremble arm on the bridge. Total cost; about $10.00 and not as many hours as you'd think!
