  • Roland Gp-8 W/ FC-100 Problems

I bought this along time ago and on my FC-100 pedals 1 and 2 didnt work everything else worked great then 3 and 4 stoped working and then more pedals stoped working. I have tested my FC-100 on a different Roland GP-8 all pedals worked but 1 and 2. Now my problem is that my pedal is telling me that I am changing beetween patches and banks but my processor is not. Im going to test my pedal again on a nother GP-8 and i know its going to work. But whats wrong with my GP-8 ? Does anyone know? I heard of others doing the same thing but havent heard of a fix.

    bumping a zombie...

but these (and all the roland footswitches like it) are easy to fix.

open 'em up, take 'em apart, and spray a little contact cleaner in each switch individually. rock 'em around in a circle a little while pushing each one repeatedly. reassemble.

that's usually all it takes to get 'em working again.
