Need some help with my 1980 Dynacomp

I opened it up to date and clean and I am noticing a wire not connected to anything. It comes from the input jack. Here is a pic. It's the hooked bare lead on left close to last lug on volume pot. Where does it go? It's not working now.TIA

That is a ground wire. Connect it to the black wire on the pot.
