18 Watt Question

Guys...

I have 18 Watt and 36 Watt kits that I have built that I like alot. My question is:

Can I use the same front end and PI to drive a set of EL34's? I have a set of transformers that are suitable for for the EL34's.

I actually want the Lite version of just volume and tone. I like the simplicity but want that with a more powerful amp.

Are there any gaping holes in my theory?

others will know more, but I'd be tempted to tweak the PI to be more like the ax84 el34 PP power amp:
