    Duende Criatura Tube Rings

Snake oil or not? Does anyone have any experience with these? They seem a little to pricey to buy as an experiment.

Looks like a complete and utter waste of money :P

Tube rings have been around as long as amp porn.
BUT at that price I'd certainly pass...it is mostly hooey.
on the other hand, you can get neoprene rings at the hardware store if you got to have the bling for your tubes. I can't say they are total bunk as I have had success using them....once. The customer thought it helped cut the ringing on his precious Mullard GZ34 anyway.

While not good for aesthetics or collector's value, I've had good luck with high-temp RTV to cut down rattle/microphonics.

I tend to just shut off any time marketing copy says their widget will improve the three-dimensional picture, sound stage, or control bass.

Putting rubber things on tubes can help to control vibration, but I don't see why ordinary O-rings wouldn't work.

I'm sure you can get high temperature rated Teflon ones for extra mojo.
