Looking for source of plastic retail boxes

Hey guys. I've been buying hinged clear plastic boxes from a local supplier to sell strat and tele pickup sets in. I don't have a source however for rectangular plastic boxes for individual strat and tele pickups. I was hoping to find something along the lines of what Van Zandt or Suhr uses. Anyone have a lead? Thanks in advance.

And American Science and Surplus has a whole array of containers. Changes month to month what they have. The wife buys bulk plasic screw cap jars for the mustard she sells from them. Lots of other interesting and odd crap there.

Why do you want to add more crap to landfills? People are just going to toss them out soon as they get it home. For my money Fralin has the best idea though his labels stink. Simple white cardboard box, name on the label, if you want to get fancy make a fancy label with a picture of the pickup on it, inkjet adhesive paper is cheap. Cardboard is way cheaper, is biodegradeable and recyclable. I don't sell retail so have no need for packaging, when I ship pickups I wrap them in paper towels and a sandwich bag sealed with tape, no one has complained yet :-)

Amen to that! When I went looking for boxes I was going to get the little plastic boxes like Duncan, et al, use, but instead went with plain brown "craft" cardboard boxes. I printed a nice label for the top. They were much cheaper than the plastic boxes, and more environmentally friendly. For a store display the top can be opened. I went with the natural brown boxes, because they looked more organic than the white ones.

I too go with cardboard boxes and I have a Brother P-touch QL-550 label printer.

I must confess I have looked into plastic packaging because of market pressures, shop display considerations etc. I decided against in the end mostly because of cost which I wouldn't want to pass on to my customers.
