  • Marshall amp fuses

Does anyone know where to get fuses for the Marshall Valvestate 2000 AVT 50? Its called either T630mAL = 230V or T1.6AL = 120V.

Well then first off, where are you? DO you have 120v power or 230v power (or 240v)?

It lists two types of fuse because the amp can be used with 120v or 240v power, and each needs its own fuse rating.

"T" in either case means timed or time delay, which is the same thing as "slow blow."

630ma means 630 milliamps, which is the same thing as 0.63 amps

    1.6A means 1.6 amps

The glass ones are fine and more common anyway. I think they are the 20mm (length) size. The larger fuses more common in the USA are 1-1/4".

I doubt you will find those at Radio Shack or the hardware, but you can always check. If you have an actual electronics parts store in your area, go there. Otherwise Mouser sells either one for about 60 cents.

If yours has blown, there is a REAL good possibility your power module has blown.
